Montalbo Nursery and Primary School Report – Dec 2023 .
Montalbo Nursery and Primary School Ethos and Approach
At Montalbo Nursery and Primary School, we are committed to the equal inclusion of all pupils in all areas of school life. We recognise that all children have diverse and individual needs and take into account the additional support required by those children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). We recognise that all pupils are entitled to a quality of provision that will enable them to achieve their potential. We believe in early and positive intervention, removing barriers to learning, raising expectations and working in partnership with parents, pupils and other agencies in order to provide a positive educational experience for all of our pupils.
Our whole school values support our SEND practices:
Endeavour
We have high expectations of every pupil. We value the contributions made by all pupils and celebrate everyone ‘trying their best’.
Collaborate
We believe that the unique strengths of all of our pupils are what make us such a great team and that by working together we can achieve great things.
Inspire
We know that ensuring all children are motivated by and active in their learning is the best way to help them progress.
This SEND Information Report should be read alongside the school’s SEND Policy, the Equalities Information and Objectives and the Accessibility Plan.
