Montalbo EYFS Curriculum
Our Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum is designed to inspire, challenge and nurture every child, providing the foundations they need to become confident, independent and enthusiastic learners.
Children in our Nursery and Reception classes follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Our curriculum is carefully planned to build on children’s prior knowledge, skills and experiences, supporting their development across the seven areas of learning and development.

EYFS Intent, Implementation and Impact
Within Nursery and Reception, half-termly themes are planned to provide a clear structure for learning while remaining responsive to the interests and needs of the children. Each theme incorporates a balance of purposeful play and adult-led activities, providing children with opportunities to explore, develop their curiosity and build on their knowledge and skills.
