The focus of our first half term is The Bowes Museum and the John and Josephine story. To launch our topic we visited The Bowes Museum and learnt lots of facts. We are using this information to write a book about the history of the museum.
In Science we are looking at everyday materials and how we could use these to create a model of the museum. In Geography we are looking at aerial and land maps of the museum and creating our own. In art we are creating illustrations of the museum to go in our book.
