Friends of Montalbo School have organised two events: one for children and families and one for
grown-ups! They have organised:
a Family Night at Glaxo Sports and Social Club on March 7th between 6-9pm. Admission is taken at the door for this event.
The second event is a Bingo Night for adults on April 3rd, again at Glaxo Sports and Social Club. More information can be found in our weekly newsletter.
World Book Day
Thursday 6th March 2025
This year, we will not be dressing up.
Instead, we will be inviting parents and carers to look around our whole school writing and art display from 3:20pm to 5:00pm, in the main school hall.
Our chosen book this year is ‘Bothered by Bugs’ by Emily Gravett.
We look forward to sharing our fantastic creations with you.

Holiday Activities -October half term 2024 PDF
Pupils learned about the different job roles in The Royal Navy and the skills needed to carry out such jobs.
The afternoon session then enabled children to take part in a range of team building and leadership activities.
Thank you to the Royal Navy personnel who delivered the sessions for us.
In collaboration with Teesdale Cancer Research UK and the ‘Turn Barney Pink’ event, we are encouraging children to wear something pink to school this Friday. This can be something as simple as a pink scarf or hat… or even a full outfit! The choice is yours.
If you would like to donate £1.00 to Teesdale Cancer Research UK please send this to school with your child.
