On Wednesday staging will be brought in to school for our whole school photograph to celebrate the completion of the extension. Let’s hope the weather holds!

We hope that you have had a great half term. A reminder that this week there are a number of educational visits. On Tuesday the children in Dr Greenwell’s and Miss Scott’s classes are visiting the Hancock Museum. We also have a visit from the Centre for Life for Year 6 and Year 2 are orienteering at Staindrop.

On Wednesday afternoon we have Key Stage 2 Football at Staindrop.

On Thursday Reception and Year 2 are on a visit to Tynemouth so all in all it is another busy but exciting week.

A reminder that Monday 3rd June is a Teacher Training Day. We look forward to seeing the children on Tuesday 4th June.

Next week Year 6s will be sitting their SATs and we wish them well. After that, there are many great activities planned. I will accompany them on some.

On Friday, Year 6s will visit The Hub for kayaking and high ropes. Then, the following week, they are going on their residential to Ford Castle with Miss Richardson, Mrs Daniels and me. That should be a great experience. Please can parents ensure that any outstanding forms such as medical forms or consents are returned to the School Office. Thank you. Mr Minikin.

Please find attached the Summer Term After School Club list. As we have now switched to ParentPay and want children to commit to clubs for a half term, you will be charged for a full half term rather than individual sessions.
