Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework

Pupils in Nursery and Reception follow the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) Curriculum. There are 7 areas of study which build on prior knowledge, skills and development.

These areas include:

  • Communication and Language
  • Mathematics
  • Literacy
  • Understanding the World
  • Expressive Arts and Design
  • Physical Development
  • Personal, Social and Emotional Development
