PE SWIMMING DATES UPDATE:
Several of our swimming sessions have been changed to a Monday slot, below are the new dates for swimming during the Autumn term:

Please note that the new menu for the next term has been sent home and these must be returned by Friday 14th October. The new choices will take effect from Monday 31st October.
As Halloween approaches Taylor Shaw have created a pumpkin competition. Children will be given a template of a pumpkin to create a scary face on. They will also be given a template to write a spooky pumpkin poem. The best pumpkin design will be carved onto a pumpkin and the best poem will be judged by Taylor Shaw and prizes will be awarded. Collect your templates from Mrs Wood.
Don’t forget our MacMillan Coffee afternoon is happening this Friday (30th September) 1pm – 3:30pm.
Any baked donations are greatly appreciated and required by Friday at 1pm at the latest.
Donations of raffle prizes are also greatly appreciated. If you would like to volunteer for the afternoon making and selling tea and coffee please come to school for 1pm.

The first FOMs meeting of the school year will take place on Tuesday 4th October at 5pm. This will be held at school.
If you would like to play a role in FOMs please come along to the meeting. Everybody is welcome!
Amanda Noel visited the school recently to take some informal photographs based on the school’s values that we can use to update the hall canvases. In the past, several parents have requested copies of some of these photographs. If you’d like to see the proofs of the photographs, please feel free to browse them outside the School Office.
Amanda is also offering to take informal family photographs on Wednesday 21st September. Please complete the letter sent out on Tuesday 13th or call at the School Office to book a time.

From September 2016, the price of school lunches rises by 5p to £2.00. Universal Free School Meals are still in place for Reception and Key Stage 1 children. The menu choices remain the same until October. Please see Mrs Hauxwell in the office if your child would like to have a school lunch.
A huge percentage of children attend our after school clubs which include netball, football, gymnastics and more… We hope that many more of you will join in with our after school sports in the new academic year. We will be recruiting new Sports Leaders and a School Games Committee to help run next years events. Well done to everyone who has been a part of the School Games this year.
