This week in Year 3 we have been very busy completing our first ‘Big Write’. The children worked so hard on their character descriptions based on Brambley Hedge and I was so impressed with the vocabulary that they used!
The children have also been working hard in Maths. We finished our Place Value unit today and they all did a fabulous job with their end of unit quiz!
We have been enjoying our topics and learning about the local mills and the River Tees. I know our local history walk last week was very popular – we had such a fun time!
This afternoon, we had a very special pizza treat for Theo’s birthday! Thank you to Theo’s mum and dad and happy birthday Theo!
