Handa’s Surprise

We enjoyed the story Handa’s Surprise. The children were interested in discovering the different fruits and learning about the cheeky animals that sneak fruit from Handa’s basket. We also developed our practical skills by learning how to peel and chop fruit in preparation for tasting. We were so proud to see the children showing confidence and willingness to try a variety of different fruits. This experience also led to lovely discussions about healthy eating and the meals we enjoy at home.
