As part of Reception’s topic we enjoyed a walk in town. We have been learning about what makes Barnard Castle special and visited Barnard Castle, the River Tees, County Bridge, the Butter Market and the Bowes Museum. Once we arrived at the Bowes Museum we worked with a partner to collect signs of Autumn using our Autumn checklist. Many of our adults from home accompanied us and the whole class behaved beautifully. We came back to school with the most conkers I’ve ever seen too, which we have been using in class!
