We are getting busy in Year 1! We are carrying on with new learning. In maths we are looking at numbers within 10, counting forwards and backwards and working out one more and one less. In history, we have been looking at significant buildings in Barnard Castle. Later in the half term, we will visit the Bowes Museum. In science we have been learning about different materials with Dr Blezard. In outdoor learning, our cress has grown so much! We’ve now moved onto trying to grow new carrots from carrot tops. We’ve also been super busy in our provision and different areas.
We had a lovely visit to the Bowes Museum to visit the grounds. We looked at what they look like in the present so we can compare what it used to look like in the past.
