The Christmas play is on Wednesday 7^th afternoon, Wednesday 7^th night and Thursday 8^th night. For the night performances children need to be brought to school for 5:45pm ready for the performance at 6pm.

KS1 children will get changed into their costumes in school.

KS2 children must wear their school uniform.

Children should be brought to their classroom through the main entrance. After the performance children will be taken back to their classrooms by teachers. KS1 children will need to get changed before they go home. Children need to be collected from their classroom. The performance will last for roughly one hour and children should be ready to be picked up around 7pm.

After the performance Year 5 and 6 children will be running Christmas stalls in their classroom. Please visit the stalls and show support for their business ventures.

Due to proposed industrial action on Thursday 8th December, Foundation’s Nativity will now take place on Monday 5th December at 2pm.

Due to parent’s evening there will be no school clubs running on Tuesday 15th November and Wednesday 16th November. Care will be available to children who normally attend clubs and letters have been sent out to those affected.

Please note that the new menu for the next term has been sent home and these must be returned by Friday 14th October. The new choices will take effect from Monday 31st October.

Winter Dinner Menu

As Halloween approaches Taylor Shaw have created a pumpkin competition. Children will be given a template of a pumpkin to create a scary face on. They will also be given a template to write a spooky pumpkin poem. The best pumpkin design will be carved onto a pumpkin and the best poem will be judged by Taylor Shaw and prizes will be awarded. Collect your templates from Mrs Wood.

Don’t forget our MacMillan Coffee afternoon is happening this Friday (30th September) 1pm – 3:30pm.

Any baked donations are greatly appreciated and required by Friday at 1pm at the latest.

Donations of raffle prizes are also greatly appreciated. If you would like to volunteer for the afternoon making and selling tea and coffee please come to school for  1pm.
