My name is Belinda Thompson and I live and work in Barnard Castle. I have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. My youngest daughter enjoyed attending Montalbo Nursery and School, as have three of my grandsons.
I was appointed as a Community Governor in 2011 and now serve as a Co-opted Governor. I am a member of the Curriculum, Standards, Behaviour and Safety and First Committees.
I work for our family run Construction Company. My background is in Youth Work and Alternative Education Management.ย I take an active interest in the local community and I am a member of Barnard Castle Town Council and a Parent Governor of Teesdale School.
I am proud to be a Governor of Montalbo School and I am committed to working proactively as part of the Governor team to ensure the children receive the best education possible while enjoying their time at this wonderful school.
